Video Description: One thing I had to learn, is every time you go against God’s will, it makes its harder for you to step into God’s calling for your life. You’ll find yourself living in fear or doubting God’s calling, but if you know your identity in Christ, surrender to God’s will, live righteously according to the word, and ask God for healing, then everything else will take care of itself. 1. Desire for control: Many of the times, you want to be in control of your own life and decisions. It may not be intentional, but it’s a habit that you have already built. But you need to ask God in prayer constantly to give you to strength to surrender to his will, which often involves letting go of personal desires and plans, which can be difficult but it’s all worth it. 2. Pain and Disappointment: When you experience suffering or setbacks, you may get to the point where you question God’s goodness and find it hard to trust in his plan. So this can eventually lead to resentment and having a reluctance to surrender to God’s will. 3.Feeling distant from God: You will have periods of spiritual dryness or feeling disconnected from God, which can make it challenging to discern his will. And, so during these times, you may find it harder to hear God’s voice and may be tempted to rely on your own understanding. 4.Fear of Incompetence: Even when God’s will is clear, you may find yourself hesitating on your special calling, like experiencing doubt with your talents or fearing failure.
