- Let’s take another quick dive into fox hunting with this shorts video. I’m running a Hikmicro LE15S thermal monocular in my left eye and my right eye sees through the PARD DS35-70 LRF. This provides me with the best of both worlds and I get a pair of binoculars which use thermal optics for detecting heat, and infrared in the other eye for absolute clear target identification. Shot with my Howa 1500 mini action chambered in 223rem. I’m using ADI factory ammunition, 55grain Blitzkings with polymer tip - it destroys small game animals like foxes and is my most used hunting ammunition for that rifle. Are you still hunting with a torch and looking for eye shine? Using a thermal scope or thermal monocular and night vision scope will change your hunting landscape.
