After the success of the GenZ Movement on Bhadra 23 and 24, the GenZ government led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki has been accused of acting against the spirit of the GenZ youths. In response, GenZ leaders met Prime Minister Sushila Karki and drew her serious attention to the issue. During the meeting, GenZ leaders Pravesh Dahal, Miraj Dhungana, and Sudan Gurung demanded the immediate arrest of former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, and CPN-UML Politburo member Mahesh Basnet, in accordance with the demands of the GenZ movement. The leaders stated that these three figures acted against the principles of the GenZ movement, with former Prime Minister Oli and Ramesh Lekhak responsible for suppressing the movement, which resulted in the deaths of 76 youths. Furthermore, during the meeting, GenZ leaders Pravesh Dahal, Miraj Dhungana, and Sudan Gurung submitted an eight-point demand to Prime Minister Sushila Karki, which I have explained in detail in this video. GENZ MOVEMENT 2082 — 8+1 DEMANDS TO THE GOVERNMENT 🇳🇵 After the success of the GenZ Movement on Bhadra 23 and 24, the GenZ leaders — Pravesh Dahal, Miraj Dhungana, and Sudan Gurung — met Prime Minister Sushila Karki and presented their eight major demands along with an additional call for arrests of key political figures. 👇 Here are the 9 key demands of the GenZ Movement: 1️⃣ Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut must resign immediately. 2️⃣ The Chairperson of the Judicial Council should resign and the council be restructured. 3️⃣ CIAA Chief Prem Rai must be removed from his post. 4️⃣ New judges should be appointed to fill all vacant judicial seats. 5️⃣ No legal action should be taken against anyone involved in the GenZ protests and vandalism. 6️⃣ Within seven days, both the protesting side and President Ramchandra Paudel must sign the official agreement. 7️⃣ GenZ representatives must be included in the Cabinet and Secretariat. 8️⃣ The movement should be officially named “People’s Movement 2082 (Janandolan 2082)”. 9️⃣ Former PM KP Sharma Oli, former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, and CPN-UML Politburo Member Mahesh Basnet must be immediately arrested.
