Video Description
The devil is doing his best everyday to get followers of Christ to go against God’s will. You may be lacking trust in God’s plans, and worried about your future. But you need to get to the point where you just surrender your life to God, stay humble, recognize that Jesus loves you, and he will never lead you down the wrong path. It’s okay to have plans for your life, but make sure they are aligned to God’s purpose, if it’s not then you need to really evaluate some things in your life to get on God’s side. 1. Pride and Self Reliance: We all have free will, and a desire for control over our lives. So this automatically leads to you trusting in your own understanding and abilities instead of seeking and submitting to God’s wisdom. You may feel your plans are better than God’s. Proverbs 3:5-6 2. Fear of the Unknown: When you follow God’s plans, it can sometimes lead you to down unfamiliar paths, and it may cause you to prefer your own path because that’s what your more comfortable with and desire more. God doesn’t provide all the specific details when you are a follower of Christ, look out who Moses, Abraham, and Esther who chose to follow God’s journey, without knowing the full outcome. 3. Impatience and Lack of Trust: It’s understandable that waiting for God’s timing and his plan can be challenging, especially when you want something so bad in the moment, and you may be in a difficult situation in your life. But at this point, many of us start to be too impatient, which will cause you to pursue your own plans which are not aligned to God’s will 4. Neglecting God’s word: When you have a lack of spiritual discernment, and fail to regularly seek God’s guidance through prayer, that’s when you will find yourself prioritizing your own desires over God’s will. God calls us to understand his will by looking carefully at how we walk and not be naive. So make sure you rejoice always, pray continuously, and give thanks in all circumstances which will help you to align with God’s plans.
