Remove the crusts from the bread slices and break them into small pieces. 2. Pour the milk into a heavy-bottomed pan and bring it to a boil. Let it simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the milk reduces to half the original quantity. 3. Add the bread pieces to the milk and stir until the bread dissolves completely. 4. Now add the sugar and thandai powder to the milk and mix it well. 5. Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down to room temperature. 6. Once the mixture is cooled, add the heavy cream and mix it well. 7. Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or any other small containers. 8. Freeze the kulfi for at least 6 hours or overnight. 9. To serve, dip the kulfi molds in warm water for a few seconds and then remove the kulfi from the mold. Garnish with chopped nuts, saffron strands, and rose petals. Enjoy your delicious Thandai Kulfi with a twist of bread! Note: 1. You can also use leftover bread for this recipe. Just make sure to remove the crusts and break the bread into small pieces before using it in the recipe. 2. Thandai powder is a mixture of almonds, fennel seeds, poppy seeds, cardamom, black pepper, and rose petals. You can make it at home or buy it from any Indian grocery store.
