- Nearly a year ago, our daughter decided our family Halloween theme costume be Wicked. She’d be Glinda, and I’d be Elphaba. When I posted about it in January, a lot of people said she’d change her mind before October. Spoiler: she didn’t. 😂 So here I am, a gay dad trying my first round of Elphaba makeup, and let’s just say it’s more green disaster than Broadway ready.
