- After more than 50 years away from home, Thuingaleng Muivah, General Secretary of NSCN (IM) GPRN, finally landed at his birthplace — Somdal Village, Ukhrul District, Manipur. Muivah flies from Dimapur first stopped at Ukhrul town, where he was greeted by thousands in a grand public gathering, before continuing his journey to Somdal, his native village. The homecoming was historic and deeply emotional, as villagers and family members welcomed him with traditional Naga attires, and waving of the Naga national flag. The event symbolized unity, pride, and the unbreakable spirit of the Naga people.
