🚖 THE LAST PASSENGER They say some journeys are meant to change your life—others are meant to test your soul. In the quiet town of Ogbere, there lived a humble taxi driver named Baba Kene. He was known for his honesty, his patience, and for never refusing a passenger, no matter the hour. One cold midnight, as the rain whispered against his windscreen, Baba Kene decided to take one last ride before heading home. That’s when he saw her— a young woman standing by the roadside, drenched, wearing a white wrapper and holding a small calabash close to her chest. “Driver, please take me to the old cemetery road,” she said softly. Though uneasy, Baba Kene nodded. Money was scarce, and the night was long. As they drove, the woman barely spoke. But the air in the taxi grew colder—thick with something unseen. When Baba tried to check his rear mirror, her reflection wasn’t there. His hands trembled. Before he could ask anything, she whispered, “Stop here.” He looked around. They were at the gate of the old cemetery. He turned to tell her the fare—but the back seat was empty. The only thing left was her calabash, glowing faintly, humming like a heartbeat. Terrified, Baba sped home and refused to open the calabash. But curiosity burned within him. At dawn, he gathered courage and opened it. Inside was a folded white cloth… and a note that read: “Thank you for giving me one last ride. I was buried far from home. You have helped me return.” From that day, Baba Kene never drove at midnight again. But sometimes, when the rain falls, people swear they still see his taxi waiting by the roadside—engine running, door open—for one last passenger. Moral Lesson: Be kind, even when you don’t understand the reason. Some acts of kindness travel beyond life itself. 💭 If this story gave you chills, share it and tell us—would you have stopped for her? ⚡ Powered by JBMPlusTV Media #AfricanFolktale #jbmplustv #JBMPlusTVMedia #StoryTimeAfrica #MidnightMystery #AfricanMyths #RealLifeStories #DarkFolktales #AfricanLegends #CreepyTales #MysteryNight
