In order to find God in your heart, you need have an encounter with him, get motivation to read the word, seeking direction, develop a prayer life, and find a community of believers to help bring you to the Christian faith! 1. Distraction by the World: The world has many distractions that can pull our attention away from God. These things could be anything from career ambitions and financial pursuits to social engagements and entertainment. When you practice these distractions, it can make you feel easy neglected to practice prayer, Bible study, church attendance. This will lead to you having a less stronger relationship with God. 2.Deceptive nature of worldly desires: Worldly desires, such as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, can be deceptive. When you give into worldly desires, it may promise you fulfillment and happiness, but ultimately will leave you feeling empty and unfulfilled. If you read more in the word, it gives you a warning about loving the world and desires, making it clear that they are temporary and will eventually lead to spiritual loss. 3.Lack of Understanding of God’s provision: Many of the times, when you lack faith in God’s provision it can lead you to prioritize worldly things. When you start to feel indications of fear during financial hardships, or uncertainty about the future, it can lead to you focus on accumulating wealth and security. But in the Bible, it reminds us that God is the ultimate provider and that seeking his kingdom first will lead to provision in all areas of life. 4. Focus on immediate gratification: In the world we live in, it offers a culture of instant gratification and fleeting pressures. And, this can lead to a concentration on immediate satisfaction rather than long- term spiritual growth. When you choose short- term relationship over a relationship with God, which requires time, effort, and commitment, it can hinder your spiritual development.
